The newly elected President of Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture PHCCIMA Dr. Chinyere Nwoga FIMC, FIARSAC, FICA, M.IoD has said that she and her team will make visible impact to the economic development of Rivers State.
The First Female President of PHCCIMA made the statement shortly after her decoration following her emergence as the new President of the Chamber,during the 2024 elective Annual General Meeting of PHCCIMA held on Wednesday 27th November 2024 at the Chambers Secretariat in PortHarcourt.
Dr. Nwoga thanked members of the organized private sector in Rivers State for their resilience as a
united and purposeful Chamber for the growth of business community in Rivers State, adding that she and her team have outlined plans to achieve the dreams of the founding fathers of the Chamber. She also said that the Chamber is a business advocacy organization and shall continue to engage the government on how to create enabling evironment for business activities to thrive in the State.
In an interview with newsmen, the newly elected Second Deputy President of PortHarcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (PHCCIMA), Chief Engr. Godwin Etim promised to use his wealth of experience to strengthen the age long relationship between the Chamber and some of the multinational organizations in the state not only to facilitate regular payment of their dues but also to sponsor some of the programs of the Chamber.
Earlier in his validictory speech, the out going President of Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (PHCCIMA), Eze Sir Mike Elechi JP, FNIM NPOM DSSRS thanked PHCCIMA members for their cooperation during his tenure and promised to be available whenever he is needed.
