PHCCIMA PRESIDENT INVITES SPDC COOPEAST TO 2023 PORT HARCOURT INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIR

The President of Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (PHCCIMA) Eze, Sir Mike Elechi, NPOM, JP, FNIM, DSSRS has extended invitation to Shell East Investment Cooperative Society Ltd to the 2023 17th edition of the Port Harcourt International Trade Fair and exhibition.

The President gave the invitation when the General Manager of SPDC CoopEast, Dr. Uchechukwu Akpu paid him a courtesy visit in his office at the Chamber Secretariat in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State Capital on Thursday.

PHCCIMA President emphasized the need for the cooperatives and their vendors participation at the trade fair revealing that apart from Rivers State government involvement In the international trade fair, notable foreign and local exhibitors have indicated interest to participate in this year’ trade fair hence the need for the General Manager to mobilize his members and vendors. The Chamber President also stated that one of the benefits of their participation in the fair is that it will avail them automatic qualification for profiling and registration in the RSG/PHCCIMA, SMEs/MSMEs database program and funding opportunities.

Responding, the General Manager of Shell East Investment Cooperative Society Ltd, (CoopEast) Dr. Uchechukwu Akpu thanked the President for extending invitations to them and promised to mobilize his members to showcase their Services and Products during the trade fair.

Highlight of the visit was the presentation of copies of the 2023 Trade Fair brochures to the General Manager of the Shell CoopEast by the Chamber President. The 2023 Port Harcourt International Trade Fair and exhibition is scheduled to hold between the 6th and 20th of December, 2023 at the popular Isaac Adaka Boro Park, Mile 1 flyover in the City of Port Harcourt
