The President of PortHarcourt Chamber of Commerce Industry Mines and Agriculture PHCCIMA Dr. Chinyere Nwoga FIMC FIARSAC FICA has officially received a handover note and other viable assets from the Immediate past President, Eze Sir Mike Elechi JP, FNIM, NPOM DSSRS.
The brief ceremony took place at the Chamber Secretariat in PortHarcourt on Friday 29th November 2024 by 12 noon.
Addressing Chamber staff, the Immediate Past President, Eze Sir Mike Elechi thanked them for their dedication and team work for the successes recorded during his tenure and urged them to use same spirit to ensure that the President also achieves her mandate.
In her speech, the President of Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce Industry Mines and Agriculture PHCCIMA, Dr. Chinyere Nwoga FIMC FIARSAC FICA expressed satisfaction with the smooth transition and urged the staff to remain committed to their duties.
Responding on behalf of the staff, the out gone Director General of Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce Industry Mines and Agriculture PHCCIMA, Mr. Erasmus Chukwunda described the President as an easy going woman with high passion to deliver on her assignments. He recounted his experiences at the Chamber and wished it was possible for him to continue to work with the current administration and reassured her of the commitment and dedication of the staff.
The Immediate past President Eze Sir Mike Elechi JP, FNIM, NPOM DSSRS led the President, Dr. Chinyere Nwoga FIMC FIARSAC FICA and other management staff round the facilities of the Chamber.
Earlier the former Director General of the Chamber MrErasmus Chukunda had also concluded the hand over process to the Acting Director General of the Chamber, Mr. Philip Obiandu.
