PHCCIMA HOLDS 2023 AGM, … INDUCTS NEW MEMBERS

The Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry Mines and Agriculture (PHCCIMA) has ended it’s 2023 non elective Annual General Meeting in Port Harcourt and inducted some new members.

In his opening remark, the President of Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry Mines and Agriculture (PHCCIMA), Eze, Sir Mike Elechi, NPOM, JP, FNIM, DSSRS thanked members on their steadfastness towards promoting the policy and programmes of the Chamber and appealed for more co-operation towards achieving the dreams of the founding fathers of the Chamber.

In her presentation, the Acting State Coordinator of National Productivity Centre, Port Harcourt Ms. Okoronkwo Chinonyerem gave brief history of the National Productivity Centre and the Act establishing it with the mandate of stimulating consciousness towards the attainment of higher level of Productivity in all sectors of the Nigerian economy and promote international coorperation for the enhancement of national Productivity.

She enumerated the beneficiaries of National Productivity Centre to include Consumers/ Workers, Business operators and government, adding that they are also into Productivity awareness campaign among other programs. Highlights of the AGM included presentation of a documentary of the present Administration activities and achievements since inception, presentation of 2022 and 2023 Audited Accounts of the Chamber, Reappointment of the Chamber Auditor, induction and presentation of membership certificates to new members of the Chamber as shown in the above picture gallery
