2023 PH INT’L TRADE FAIR ENDS WITH RIVERS STATE SPECIAL DAY AND ISSUANCE OF PARTICIPATION CERTIFICATES TO EXHIBITORS

The 17th edition of the Port Harcourt International Trade Fair and exhibition has ended with Rivers State Special Day and Issuance of Certificates of participation to all the exhibiting companies.
   Speaking at the closing ceremony, held at the trade fair ground, Isaac Adaka Boro Park mile 1 fly over in Port Harcourt, the Director of Commerce in the Rivers State Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Chief Lady Goda Chu recalled that her Ministry had participated during the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) program and Lagos State International Trade Fair, just as she  commended the organizers of the Port Harcourt International Trade Fair and expressed the hope that the 18th edition of PortHarcourt International Trade Fair will be more better.
  Also speaking, the Permanent Secretary, Rivers State Ministry of Commerce and Industry who was the Special Guest of Honor, Sir Lawson Ikuru commended  the  exhibiting companies that participated during the fair which was adjudged as better than last year’s trade fair but for the political crisis in the state which negatively affected this year’s fair.
   The Permanent secretary however noted that the fair has made tremendous impact on the participants, State and the environment, he emphasized that the 18th edition will be more memorable, just as he used the medium to urged the leadership of PHCCIMA on the need to recognize and embrace other smaller Chambers of Commerce like Ogoni Chamber of Commerce, Eleme Chamber of Commerce and Bonny Chamber of Commerce.
   Earlier in his address, the President of Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (PHCCIMA) Eze, Sir Mike Elechi, NPOM, FNIM, DSSRS who thanked all the exhibitors and partnering Organizations for finding time to fair with them.
    He maintained that inspite of the political crisis in the Rivers State, it remains save for investors, hub of  a entrepreneurial development and center for SMEs growth just as he commended Rivers State government under the headship of His Excellency Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS for partnering with the PHCCIMA to host the 17th edition of Port Harcourt International Trade Fair.
    The closing ceremony of 2023 Port Harcourt International Trade Fair and exhibition which was climaxed with the issuance of Certificates of participation to all exhibiting companies also featured, Cultural display, drama presentation by the Rivers State Ministry of Arts and Culture and Tour of the Rivers State Ministry of Commerce and Industry Pavilion at the Trade Fair by the entourage of the Permanent Secretary and PHCCIMA President.
