PHCCIMA PRESIDENT RECEIVES LOC MEMBERS FOR 2024 ANMC OF THE NIM, PLEDGES SUPPORT

The President of the Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (PHCCIMA), Eze, Sir Mike Elechi, NPOM, JP, FNIM, DSSRS has commended the Publicity and Marketing Subcommittee of the Local Organizing Committee of the Annual National Management Conference (AAMC) of the Nigerian Institute of Management Chattered for identifying PHCCIMA as a veritable platform for grooming Business Leaders of high repute and exchange of management information. The Chamber boss made the commendation in his office on Tuesday 6th August, 2024 at the Chamber Secretariat when he received his august visitors consisting of the LOC Chairman, Barr. Peter Edieya Uwa, Mr. Lasisi Ibrahim and Dr. Christian U. Abu, who is now the South-South Regional Publicity Secretary of the national institute. Earlier in his statement of their purpose for the visit, the Subcommittee Chairman of the LOC informed the Chamber President that they were in his office in recognition that he is a Fellow of the institute and to seek the collaboration of PHCCIMA in organizing the 2024  Annual National Management Conference of the NIM scheduled to hold in Port Harcourt from 22nd to 24th September, 2024 at the Obi Wali International Conference Centre. He used the opportunity to invite Chamber members to attend, participate and exhibit their goods and services at the conference. The South-South Regional Publicity Secretary of the prestigious institute, Dr. Christian U. Abu also utilized the opportunity to inform Chamber members of available opportunities to advertise in the event brochure as it will give adequate visibility to their businesses. In his response to their requests, the Chamber President, Eze, Sir Mike Elechi, NPOM, JP, FNIM, DSSRS assured them of the Chamber support noting that both organizations are partners in progress. He promised to mobilize Chamber members to participate and exhibit their products and services at the national conference but asked the visitors to furnish the Chamber with breakdown of the costs of advert placements and exhibition booths, and requested for discounts for Chamber members to encourage mass participation, and wished them success in the program.
